It does not seem like eight years ago when I first met my business partner, Joe Scurto. I had just finished reading, "Search Engine Optimization for Dummies" and was quite satisfied that I knew more about website optimization than he did. If you have not met us yet - Joe Scurto and I are both Italian, head strong and competitive. Needless to say, no one would have ever fathomed that the argument that arose that day in the Newman-Dailey Resort Properties conference room would have resulted in one of the most powerful partnerships in the Vacation Rental industry. But yes, that is how we began.
It was not named Rezolution and nor did we set out to build a "system" that could run multiple websites. We truly started our journey in Vacation Rental Marketing by trying to build the strongest, most search engine friendly and consumer friendly site for Newman-Dailey... which still dominates the Destin Rental market today. Gradually, we began to get the opportunity to build more sites for more Property Managers and soon learned that at the basis of every request - was the same premise... every single client needed a site with the same foundational strengths but wanted to put their own unique mark on the world wide web.
Six years into our partnership, Joe and I began to realize that we needed to bring all of our creations together into one, single platform that we could manage in one place or we would never sleep again! Both of us had full time obligations and business was starting to pick up in the web development realm. Thus - the birth of Rezolution.
Right now, I would consider Rezolution a very head strong college freshman. We have not quite hit adulthood because there are so many more opportunities on the horizon, yet we are mature enough to know that we want to avoid duplicating previous mistakes at all costs and that the truly powerful websites are determined by not overlooking the small details.
